The Wanderer; A Walk of Redemption

A non-politically correct story of a former soldier suffering from post traumatic stress and trying to live out his life in solitude with his memories of his past losses. His life is changed through chance encounters with old antagonists and the acquisition of new acquaintances. His attitude toward life is altered and he learns that his past experiences don't define him as a man but rather help him survive in a world that he has chosen to alienate himself from. Even though his character begins as dark and lonesome, his underlying sense of humor makes him a character you find yourself relating to on some level. Post traumatic stress is a factor effecting many veterans returning to civilian life and the main character is doing the best he knows how and in no way tries to make light of this affliction. His dedication to his military creed and the conflict with his new life often conflicts with accepted social norms.
