Excellent book for family not just for kids

The Wall Chart of Science and Inventions by Peter North is an excellent book which you could browse throughout many years. I bought it in 1993 when my boy was 5 years old. We could browse it together and I would read it to him. To day I have found it among my hidden treasure and my son, now 20 years old, could not let it go. It provides you a window thru which you look into the past. I gives a chronological panorama of scientific achievement from 50000 BC to 1990. * Over 1300 text entries, checked by experts (introduction by Isaac Asimov). * Over 350 illustrations across ten colorful pages, including cutaway diagrams and maps. * Developments in thirteen major subject areas and in world history, compared against a timeline in a unique integrated design. Has * Glossary of important terms and keys to color coding. * Unfolds into a magnificent mural over ten feet (3 meters) in length.It is big size, designed to be also used as a mural in classrooms.
