Even though the organization is modified, the content of this books is so similar to that found in their previous book that if you read the product description and reviews of that book, The Journey That Never Was, it will directly apply to this book. And if you already own that book and buy this one you will probably be disappointed at the overlap unless it has been a while since you read the old one. That said, the authors have scribed a detailed development of what may be the single most important aspect of the Course In Miracles, the cultivation of the Voice for God as a source of internal guidance for daily living and direct spiritual revelation of God's will for personal conduct. Don't miss this important work in your quest for connection with spirit if you have not seen what these authors have to say. Their writing style alternates a recounting of their personal histories with direct quotes of what their inner guidance told them. If this sounds mundane, it isn't. The voice is much truer in linguistic form to that used in the course than many of the other scribed authors on the market and the completeness of the goal is a very lofty one. ACIM purists will admire the quality and clarity that comes through. Don't cheat yourself out of this treat. The goal is not just to hear snippets of spirit but: "Eventually there will be less seeking of guidance and direction because you will just know and understand that everything is perfect. Eventually, this communion begins to stretch between the mornings and the evenings and the times during the day and it begins to fill in the gaps between those set-aside times, so that more and more you are having this communion within your mind, this experience of God ... the words, the feelings, the guidance, direction, and love. As you take that into more moments of your day, it will one day fill in all of the gaps so that all you have is communication and communion with God and that will become your reality, and the illusion of the world will fall away."
