I first looked at these cards one night while having insomnia. I didn't really know much about them but they all had such beautiful scenery, I kept noticing these common themes and I tried to put them together in the order I thought they were in. Like someone on a journey. That's what I recommend: look at the cards first and try to figure them out before you look at the book. I then looked at the book and learned what the cards mean. I looked at the square picture of all 64 cards and saw all these different patterns and it was pretty fascinating. I like to play Memory with these cards (although if someone is less familiar with them, it's hard for them to figure out which cards match). I still have a lot to learn, especially being able to recognize the line symbols just by sight (that will probably never happen). Also, even if you don't use it as an "oracle", it's kind of meditative to flip through them and look at their scenery. I've looked at tarot and other decks of cards, but this is my favorite!!
