a favorite for years

This book was on my parents bookshelf when I was growing up - signed by the author (a family friend). When I finally pulled it off the shelf and started reading it in high school (13 years ago) I found that I couldn't put it down. I've read it several times since. This book is truly addicting and compelling; Dr. Karp's storytelling is engrossing, his anecdotes show that the things that happen in the real world to real people...
