Great Book for Sunday School Preparation and Serious Bible Study

I have been using this book for over a year now for background study for Sunday School lessons. Its quality is superior. The author is a true scholar. But even more than that, he treats each passage with sensitivity and full awareness of the spiritual implications which readers may need to draw from chapters. I have one copy for myself and have bought copies for family members who are also engaged in serious Bible study. I cannot recommend this book enough for serious students of the New Testament.
