A Delightful Story

I liked this book a lot, the story was simply written but a delightful read, nonetheless. This was about a vicar's daughter, Christina, who wanted to provide her father a healthier environment to recover from his illness by agreeing a marriage of convenience with Lord Domenic Stanhope, who wanted to have freedom to pursue his amorous affairs without the complications. But the life with Christina was not what Domenic had expected at all; Although the spirited Christina brought order to the household but disorder to his mind with her escapeades: visiting brothels, brawling with workmen, dashing through the night to save an errant husband... little by little they started to appreciate and developed affection for one another. There were humor and adventure, all in all, it was a feel-good Pollyanna story with a grown-up twist.
