We all know that Mary is the mother of Jesus. We know the story of His birth, and some might know from Michelangelo's Pieta that she was with Him when He died.

But I think we have a very limited understanding of Mary and her role in Jesus' life. I think that there are very few people that understand Mary correctly.

I want to do what I can to remedy that.

In order to understand Mary and her role in Jesus' life, it's important that we understand Mary as she was and not the idealized version.

Mary is not just the woman who birthed Jesus. She was with Him much of His life. We can learn a lot from her.
