the Vampire's Bride is the fourth book in the Atlantis series by Gena Showalter. Showalter is a master story teller. The story line is fresh, fash moving and is hard to put down. I give this book 4+ stars.

Survivor Meets Atlantis!

This is a great book, featuring a few stories-within-the story. In this fourth installment to this truly awesome series, two of each Atlantean race are placed on an island and forced to compete against each other. The losers receive... death. There will only be one winner, and that winner gets whatever he/she wants. Layel and Delilah are well-written characters, with alot of challenges--not just in the competition. This was probably the most emotionally gripping of the series. I loved this book, and the rest of the series as well. Gena Showalter has created a beautiful, mystical land, full of intriguing races and a rich history. The characters were well-developed. The heroes: Strong, brave, sexy, brutal yet ... sweet to their chosen mates. The heroines were bold, daring, courageous women you could root for. I'm ready for more in this series. I want to revisit Atlantis again and again!
