Good Vampire Book

I enjoyed this book very much, after having read I, Vampire and the Vampire Papers. This book focused more on Niccoleta and less on David Parker. Mr. Romkey made it a point to show just how evil and depraved she really is. If you're a David Parker fan, you'll be a little disappointed. He's not in much of the book. The David Parker in this book is a shadow of his former self. He's pretty pathetic. But, I think that just shows how powerful Niccoleta really is. Even David agrees that he's no match for her. I would love to see another book where David Parker goes up against her. That would be a hell of a fight. The whole cruise thing is kinda over the top. There are so many characters that it's a bit hard to follow at times, especially the part about the voodoo priest. What's that all about?? I really recommend the book, because you get a feel for Niccoleta. The Vampire Papers didn't go into great detail about her past.

the good...the bad...and the ugly

The good...the entire story line of "princepessa" was excellent, when dealing with her past. Could have been an excellent novel in it's own rite had Romkey stuck with her and her early years. The bad...the whole cruise ship scenario seemed lame and completely incredible. He jumps around from character to character so much my head was spinning. Did enjoy how the ship was ressurected and the story line associated with it. The ugly...David Parker reduced to a whimpering, whipped vampire. The David Parker I got to know in Romkey's first two books would never have succumbed to such a fate. All in all I still enjoy Romkey's "twist" on the vampire genre.

the vampire princess

in the vampire series this is the third.although it seemed in a different VEIN than the first two books,i admire and respect Mr.Romkey for the change.i did like the first book the best, but this book i definetely recomend.after reading ANY Romkey book i have a hard time reading ANYONE elses books.they don't compare. ....k.kiser.

Romkey the Vampire King

This is the third installment of Michael Romkey's vampire books. This book although it does contain David Parker is about the vampire Princess Nicoletta Vittorine Di Medusa. This story focuses on her early life and her exploits on a luxury liner. Although this is not as good as the previous two books "I, Vampire" and "The Vampire Papers" it is still good reading.
