Good for giving kids a perspective into history

This book has helped my son understand what it would be live like to live as a child in three distinct time periods in history. It has given him a foundation that will help him put future history lessons into context. I only wish they had this book for other time periods as the two "modern" time periods (Roman and Castle times) both deal with European history only.
