The Untamed Sheik was a little tame!

The Untamed Sheik by Tessa Radley didn't really start to get good until the last half of the story. Megan Saxon comes to Dhahara thinking that she is going to meet up with a guy, her new boyfriend. But what who meets her is instead is Prince Shafir who believes that Megan is trying to steal his cousin's fiancee away from her. He has been told by his father and brothers to stop her using whatever means possible, including kidnapping and seducing her. Megan has no idea that her supposed new boyfriend is engaged to another. But she has other things on her mind now since Prince Shafir has decided to kidnap her and take her to his desert home. Both find that they are attracted to the other, but Prince Shafir wants to find out who is telling the truth, Megan or his cousin's fiancee, and Megan has to find out first that her supposed boyfriend is a two-timer. Plus, she is under the false impression that Prince Shafir is married. 4 stars!

Tessa Radley's newest release, THE UNTAMED SHEIK, features a desert prince and a home wrecker - or so he thinks. Prince Shafir has no idea that the woman he is supposed to keep away from his cousin by marriage is the woman he will eventually want to spend his life with. Prince Shafir Al Dhahar has promised his father that he will stop at nothing to keep Megan Saxon away from his soon to be cousin in law. Megan has shown up in their country for a so called vacation but Shafir knows better. With his beautiful cousin getting married, she shouldn't have to worry about a woman trying to wreck her engagement. Shafir vows that the wedding will go on because he plans to make sure that Megan is far enough away that she is unable to interfere - plus, he plans on making her fall in love with him. The more time Shafir spends with Megan the more he realizes that just maybe Megan isn't what his cousin's fiancé has alluded to. Megan has innocence and vulnerability about her and he is intrigued. He knows that there can be nothing to their relationship after his mission is complete - but just because he knows he can't have her, doesn't mean that he doesn't want to keep her with him forever. Shafir is worldly and loyal to his family. He is so loyal that he is willing to set up the woman supposedly trying to entice his cousin's fiancé into an affair. He doesn't want to desire Megan Saxon, but he does. The more time he spends with her, the more curious he becomes until he is no longer able to keep his feelings neutral. Megan Saxon wears her heart on her sleeves. She has no idea the turmoil she is causing in her little jaunt to Shafir's country. When she finds out exactly what Shafir's role in her seduction is, Megan is hurt - and rightly so. Tessa Radley definitely can write a romance like nobody's business. Intrigued by the plot as well as the fact that THE UNTAMED SHEIK is one of her SAXON BRIDES releases, I had to read THE UNTAMED SHEIK in one sitting. There was no other choice for me. With playful and sexually intense banter and smoldering hot love scenes, THE UNTAMED SHEIK continues the story of the different children of the Saxon family - wine makers introduced in three previous Tessa Bradley releases. Grab a fan and put your feet up on a comfortable stool because once you begin reading this enticing Silhouette Desire release you will be sweating. Ice helps too! Natalie S.
