Lost or stolen item.

I received notification of delivery by email on 15 February 2023. However I have never seen the book and there are no signs it was delivered. I spoke to Canada post who confirmed the parcel had been left on the front doorstep. My wife and i were at home that day except between 12h30 and 16h00. There was no notification it had been left. I have checked with trustworthy neighbours who were in that day but haven't seen it either. I am obviously very unhappy. I'm surprised that you follow such risky practices, bot in terms of money involved and on account on the rarity of the item. Please advise what I can do next
