Excellent History

This book was written by the commanders and participants who were there! The book is a series of short stories. Mainly by the commanders who were in combat. The list of authors is truly amazing. Being from commaders, it can be a little dry at times. However, the most riveting combat narrative I have ever read is within it's pages. On page 1035 is , 'The second Dog Watch'. It is about a kamikaze while on a radar picket post of Okinawa. Truly a historical treasure!
