I've always been interested in local history, and this book did not disappoint. Many of the stories in this book are told with a personal perspective, which was enjoyable. It's an interesting read, but at times seems a bit disjointed, but I think that this is mostly because many of the entries were originally independant newpaper columns. If you have ever been curious about the history of Dallas, I would highly recommend this book!
