Invaluable resource

A phenomenal book; I used it in a school-age summer program, and the games quickly became favorites. It contains sock wrestling, a safer variation on wrestling, which was a huge hit with the ten year old boys, as well as games that the younger kids and girls played daily. A lot of the games were played outside, but it saved me when a rainy day changed plans or cancelled a field trip. It's the best (and briefest) of many books in its category. And, unlike many of the greats in the category, is one children will actually use themselves. I've worked with kids long enough to know a *lot* of games, and most books are too heavy on the familiar. this one isn't. Between this and "the great big book of children's games," a group of kids can stay busy all season!

Simply the best

This is simply the best book I have ever purchased for my family! We have enjoyed these games so much we bought extra copies and are giving them as gifts to friends and family! Money may not be able to buy happiness but the few dollars you spend on this could really bring your family closer together (my kids love choosing a different game every night). We really look forward to a few minutes of family game time on a regular basis. I've also used it for birthday parties, dance classes and other activities. This one is a keeper!
