Very Entertaining Story of a Teenage Nutball...or Two...

A mouthy young girl gets a chance to succeed at a new school when her family ships her off to her grandmother's for six months as they embark on a business trip. She makes a few friends, including a shy boy, but bungles things with the popular kids, blacklisting her at the school and driving her to desperate measures. She hits on a crazy idea to become a school celebrity. Oh, and romance blossoms. This book, more accurately described as 4-and-a-half stars, starts off just a tad slow, but gets rip-roaring once it gets started. Celebrity, celebrities, popularity, and a lesson learned. Nice!
