The book Surviving the Tuition Travesty authored by Dr. Robert Ronstadt is an extraordinarily important and unique piece of work. The web site of the book displayed inside the cover page as well as in the appendix www.tuitiontravesty.com is a source for additional information and a place to download the associated spreadsheet software for calculations. When I set out to review this book, I thought that I would be reviewing another how to type of book. The reality was far from it. This book is not only for reading but it is for keeping and studying. It is full of timely and encyclopedic amount of knowledge about the tuition situation in our higher education system that everyone should know about. As a professor responsible in educating our college students I was surprised that I did not know much about this important aspect of our higher education system. What I found in this book was an eye opener which I was not aware of it despite putting two of my children through college. Murat Tanik (Posted on behalf of Murat Tanik)
