An in-depth look at the violence and philosophy behind the #1 toy and kids' TV show in America. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The funniest thing I ever saw in my life was Phil Phillips appearing on "Eagles Nest" with Pastor Gary Greenwald (another paranoid satan-under-the-bed nitwit). Phil went on for a full half hour talking about how Smurfs are evil because they are "depictions of little dead creatures". Why, you may ask? Well, they're blue, and have black lips. What happens to you when you die? You turn blue and your lips turn black! I swear I'm not making this up! He also said that Rainbow Brite was a symbol of new age occultism due to the five pointed star on her cereal box.I have to have this book. If it is one-tenth what I think it will be, I'll be in stitches for weeks!
The Author doesn't know all of the facts!

The original Power Rangers were then and still are the Ambassadors for the DARE program. That in itself says alot for the Power Rangers.
This book is very accurate!

As the mother of two kids ages 8 and four, I can see firsthand how violence affects kids. My son watched a few episodes of Power Rangers when he was 4, and he would be so wound up after watching that show! He and his friends would kick at each other, and hit, etc. The situation got so bad with Power Rangers (at the height of their popularity back in 1994-5), that my son's school banned ANYTHING having to do with Power Rangers from the school premises. Kids would be literally attacking each other in their fervor to imitate the characters on the show. Within a week of the school banning Power Rangers merchandise, the kids were markedly calmer at recess and in the classroom! Coincidence? I think not! After noting my son's behavior after watching the show, and after reading Mr. Phillips insightful book, I too banned Power Rangers from our house and things got immediately calmer. You can choose not to believe (e.g. "stick your head in the sand") what Mr. Phillips has to say, but I think the proof is in the kids' behavior, not in your opinions.
An outstanding show of action and adventure
