A Fun Read for Tweens!

The Truth About Making Out is the comical story of two 6th grade girls in a hurry to grow up. They are clueless as to how to go about doing so, so they plot to spy on their older sisters to find out. The results are hilarious, as they are unknowingly discovered and revenge is carried out by their siblings. In the end the girls decide that they're not quite ready to grow up after all, but when they are, there are two boys waiting for them. I discovered this book quite by accident and loved it. As a curious pre-teen I thought it might give some insight on the subject of making out, however it mostly just caused me to be satisfied with being young. Now that I'm 26 years old I wish I could go back. I can still pick up this book and remember how simple life used to be, and get a good laugh at the same time. I reccomend this book to all young girls, if only to encourage them to value the friendships and fun they're having right now, and not to be in a hurry to grow up.
