Great book

Great condition. My kids loved hearing a different version of this popular story.

Review for the condition not the actual story

The book was in such a bad condition, I had to throw it away. I couldn't save it with tape.

Not in the language I ordered

The listing does not state is in Spanish. I bought it to read to my class. I don’t speak Spanish and now I can’t read it to the class. I needed it for our unit on perspective and now I won’t have it. It’s incredibly disappointing.

Said it was english

I bought this book thinking it was in English because it said it was, got to my house and it was in Spanish.. I was super disappointed

I bought this for my ltitle brother who loves reading. He loves when i read it to him. And such great quality. Would definitely recommend.

My son has always loved the Three Little Pigs story and this completely blew his mind.. It is a great twist on a classic.

very interesting story especially with the political arena that we're now experiencing, who is telling the truth?

What a blast to read this one aloud!!

Sure it's a good way to get your youngsters to start to think about the possibility that there is more than one "side" to a story, but that would just make this book sound "educational" and where would be the fun in THAT!? This book is a delightful story that lends itself to ridiculous levels of "hamming" things up when reading it aloud. Poor, poor wolf with the terrible cold that just needs to bake a cake for his dear old granny. Even my oldest child (12 yob) sticks around to hear me read this "one more time" to my younger children.

Talk about "the flip side!" This book was great. Jon Sceiszka has done a great job of protraying the wolf as a inocent victim. The true story was about a sneeze and a cup of sugar. The way that he inter-weaved the two stories was perfect. Jon told the wolfs side well without changing the original pattern of the story. I am a college student and a future teacher of America. I really enjoyed reading this book. I remember when it was first released and my 4th grade teacher read it in class! I loved it then and I love it now! This book is the perfect book to teach point of view, when comparing it to the traditional three little pigs story. It's also a good way to discuss the impact of media.

There are always two sides to every story!

This is an excellent book. It is not only entertaining, but educational. Because it tells a well-known story from a different point-of-view, it clearly demonstrates to children (and reminds us adults as well) that there are always two sides to any story. A very enjoyable story indeed!
