great, healthy family recipes

I love this recipe book. It isn't your typical chicken nuggets, mac and cheese type kids' recipes. The recipes are wonderful for the whole family. There are also good pictures throughout the book. I've been very happy with this purchase.

Great kid food!

I bought this book for a father with 4 yr old triplets, who wanted, during the days the kids were living with him, to offer them food they'd enjoy, even enjoy helping make, and which would also be good for them. He wanted to use his time with them pleasantly and effectively--but he doesn't cook! This book gave him the tools and confidence to do it, great recipes the kids love, and assurance that he is feeding them healthful meals at the same time. Who could ask for more than this very well organized book?

This books is amazing! Basically you learn about all the nutrition benefits of food and how to prepare it for children!! This book has change my mind about cooking and health!! I would recommend to all the parents to get this book is wonderful!

Fantastic whole food recipes

This is a small gem packed full of healthy recipes. The book includes meals, snacks and drinks for all families and includes vegetarian, wheat-free, gluten-free and dairy free recipes. Most recipes can be prepared in less than 10 minutes. The side bar on each page gives families a glance at the nutritional benefits of each recipe including suggested complementing foods. Our family eats no prepackaged foods and this is a great book based on real food! You will not see recipes that call for a can of condensed soup.
