The Titan’s Bride Volume 3 (Prince Caius Sacrifices His Life For His Bride, Kouichi Mizuki)

The Titan’s Bride Volume 3 has been released. The third volume continues with Kouichi’s decision to return to Earth. Caius takes Kouichi to the Spirit Realm, where all memories, past, present, and future, are revealed. Kouichi wishes Caius the best in searching for his new future bride. As Caius begins sending Kouichi back to his world, he tells Kouichi to live his life and always smile. However, Kouichi loses his smile because he notices Caius becoming transparent before disappearing altogether. Kouichi fights to return to Caius after Baro and Dr. Malthu explain that Caius is dying because his powers have been drained. With a little help from a familiar person and Caius’s memories, Kouichi finds Caius and demands that Caius make him his bride. A marked bride Kouichi restores Caius’s body and powers. Meanwhile, Baro and Dr. Malthu return to their world. Both explain their reasons for helping Kouichi bring Cauis back. Kouichi’s mother reveals herself as the person that helped bring Kouichi and Baro closer together so he could help Kouichi earlier. Kouichi’s mother expresses her love for Kouichi and approves of his relationship with Caius. Earth rewrites Kouichi’s story so everyone believes he died in the family car accident. Back in Tildant, Kouichi quickly discovers Caius’s work schedule, which is draining Caius so much that he hardly has any time for Kouichi. Simultaneously, Kouichi spends his time learning about Titan’s culture with Dr. Malthu. When the two finally have some time together, they decide to spend it in bed. But the difference between the two races is so excessive that it presents a physical problem. Therefore, Dr. Malthu recommends he sees an experienced Elf friend about their issue. Baro is unhappy about being left behind, but Dr. Malthu has a secretive mission for him. The engaged couple head to Eldemere, Alpheine’s Royal Capital (home to the Elves). Kouichi learns that the Elves have shorter lifespans and keep records of their adventures to pass them down to the next generation. Caius and Kouichi enter the woods where the Elf they seek is supposed to be. They camp for the night. In the morning, Kouichi is attacked by a slime creature. When Caius attempts to remove the slime, a masked Titan named Dyne prevents him. The Elf they’ve been searching, Reil, for shows up to explain the situation and to withdraw the slime. Reil invites Caius and Kouichi into his house. The couple presents the problem, and Reil makes three requests in exchange for helping them. After they agree, Reil says he needs a demonstration of their lovemaking. Kouichi tries but is rigid, so Reil gives him a familiar potion to help “relax” Kouichi. This is my favorite volume so far. ITKZ never ceases to amaze me. I love the cover where Caius embraces Kouichi in a hug, clinging to him. I love the main story and bonus content. I am glad that Kouichi stayed in Eustil with Caius. I can’t wait to read more and see where their story will go.
