The Thames Ironworks was an East London, Thames-side shipbuilding company that gave rise to West Ham United. The company also undertook civil engineering, marine engines, electrical engineering, and motor cars, and produced ironwork for Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge and HMS Warrior.
