This book was purchased for the Director of the musical version of this story. Both the book and musical have great parable qualities for those who are interested in Scriptural accounts and stories. Beautiful art work and insightful interpretation of the parable

The art work in this book is beautiful. Simon Dewey always does an incredible job when it comes to painting and illustration. The insights to the different women and their levels of commitment to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is well done. It is a picture book that has been beautifully illustrated and written. I have enjoyed it and have also given it to others as a gift. If you were looking for a "study guide" you would be sorely disappointed. But if you use this as a jumpstart for your own living and study, it is beneficial. It is not a study guide, but "Lessons for Our Day", and the lessons here are well spoken. Beautifully done.

For those women who want to grow and develop their inner godly self this Audio CD is excellent.
