It was a look back in time

The title and content of the book to me did not click. The read was not hard, but as a wood carver, I did not gain anything from this book except a look back in time when lumber was much much cheaper to buy. I was hoping the author would have explored technique more than the comparison and contrasting of wood carving vs wood sculpting and his life story.
