Thanks for this beautiful story - I have passed it on to others that enjoyed it so much and it is a story that makes you a better person and stays with you.

Great Historical Fiction

I have had this book for a long time, and it only gets better every time I read it. There is romance in it, but it is not a romance novel. Maryann Minatra does a good job of keeping the information accurate. She also did a lot of research on the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln, which adds to the enjoyment of the book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
