From its first arrival in Britain with the Norman forces of William the Conqueror, violence and revenge are the cursed sword's constant companions. From an election-rigging scandal in 13th century... This description may be from another edition of this product.
A thoroughly enjoyable romp across about 700 years of history with the superior storytelling of Michel Jecks and company. The settings are interesting and the major characters are old friends from the five authors represented. Mimi Sherman

Number Two in a Series

I haven't finished it yet, but one can see that this is a grand follow up to the first in the series ("The Tainted Relic"). Very much worth investigating! See the Latin phrase on the blade with the English transliteration.

tHIS AN INCREDIBLE UNITING OF THE BEST OF MEDIEVAL MYSTERY AUTHORS. ALL OF THEM CAN CLAIM TO BE FAVORITES. THE ADVANCE OF THE STORY OF THE DAMNED SWORD IS CUNNING AND SWERVING. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST. GOOD FOR ALL MYSTERY READERS, BUT ESP. FOR MEDIEVALISTS AND THOSE WHO ENJOY THE HISTORY OF THE PERIOD.
