Unfairly neglected gem!

I first read this book at the age of 15 and many years later managed to track it down again. Beautiful, witty, charming, the travails of J.O. read like your own life. Truly one of the most charming, self effacing and realistic female narrators in history. I consider this book the gold standard of how women think and act, especially in their early 20s. And some of the writing makes me jealous I hadn't thought of it myself.
