In a large redwood tree lives an artist who made it into her studio. She paints the animals brilliant colors each day for fun. A fierce looking grizzly bear shows up and scares her off into the woods one day. While she is away hiding, a unicorn comes to the studio for a paint job. He goes into the studio tree to wait but ends up spilling paint everywhere and knocking over just about everything in the studio. When the unicorn finally leaves, the artist returns to see her place completely trashed. To make matters worse the grizzly returns too. This time the bear explains that he didn't mean to frighten the artist. He only wanted to be painted a more friendly shade so he didn't scare everyone. The artist realizes that its not his shade but rather his fierce expressions and paints a smile on his face. He helps her clean up the studio and really show he has a big heart. A great lesson in making a good first impressions and also getting to know someone better so you can see their true self for ages 3 to 8.
