Sunday School Success

I purchased several Little Golden Books, The Story of Jesus, to be given to the children in my preschool Sunday School Class for Christmas. The order arrived safely and in the allotted shipping time. great story

my toddler loves this book. THere is nothing more thrilling to me, than my child brining a book to me to read to her. I read this one a lot. The story is accurate, it is just simplified for a child to understand. The illustrations are beautiful. I have never seen a story book about Jesus with details like these. There are animals on every page. And the animals are always close to Jesus. In each of the pictures with Joesph , there is a carpenters bag close by. in another picture there is an apple next to Jesus on a seat. Every time i read this i find something new on the pages. I find the words beautiful in their simplicity. If a parent wanted to tell more of the story to their child they could. It is a great opener. I also think this is a great story for people who are not Christians to read to their children as well, and not be offended.
