I am Ismael Munch. My Maa Maa, Diane Ashley-Barlow, wrote this story about me. The first thing I remember was being very, very frightened - and very cold. But, Maa Maa took me into the kitchen of her farm house where she kept me safe and warm. As I grew I realized I didn't know who I was. Was I like Maa Maa? No, couldn't be like her--I had too many legs, or was I like Old Miat the cat? Old Miat told me no, but I could find out who I was by listening to the many mouths on the farm. So I searched and listened and searched and listened to many animals on the farm, but no one looked or sounded like me.
