Wow! Truly amazing start to a great series....

My brother first read book 5 back in the '80's and told me of this. Then I decided last year to find and purchase the first book. It took sometime because they are all out of stock and print, but with some patience, I was able to purchase all six.I admit, it was really tough to digest this book, and at times were a little too slow and not enough kick in it. But the way it was written, the suspense and horror of watching what was done to his family, what he had to go through and his determination, well, something clicked in me! This is something out of a Graham Masterton world! People, do NOT give up hope after this book (as I almost did)! It only gets better and better. I just finished book 4, and have book 5 and 6 on the way!This is the only horror book/series Robert Holdstock (Robert Faulcon) has ever done and by far is one of the best reads I have ever encountered. It has to do with a lot of mind boggling wars but WEEEELLLL worth it when you hit book two.

nighthunterseries

I have read the whole series of the nighthunter books and found them fascinating if a little far-fetched. The outline is of a man obsessed with finding his family who have been kidnapped by a group of occultists,whos aim is to resurrect all paths of magic and demonology,and to take over the world. A must for all fans of fantasy and occult stories. The other books not listed are;TheHexing and The Labyrinth.

This book starts off with a bang and never lets up. Dan Brady with the help of Ellen Bancroft, goes on a chilling search for his stolen family, and finds people who can send creatures to stalk,watch and kill you with the power of their mind. These people are Arachne. Terrifying people with no concious, only a desire to finish their mission to their own evil ends. But in what way is his family to be used, and why did they leave him for dead? He will find his answers and make them all pay for the pain they have inflicted on his family!!!
