A Beautiful Gift

In the easy comfortable style reminiscent of a ride through the country in a pickup truck, Cathy Messecar shares stories of inspiration and messages of God's care and love for us. It is a beautiful gift book for any occasion.

A Wonderful Gift

For anyone in your life and on any occasion - better than a "get well" card, or even "just because" - The Stained Glass Pickup is a truly inspirational book. "God on the Ground" is especially powerful, reminding the reader that nothing is too hard for the Lord, even unfulfilled dreams. Cathy Messecar's well-written and thought-provoking chapters lead the reader in considering the important things in life.

A Colorful, Inspiring Read

I sat on my deck in the summer sun and read several of these pithy devotionals. Cathy has the art of painting colorful word pictures, drawing spiritual lessons from earthly experiences, and polishing it with a quick, summary prayer. I can't say which is my favorite, but I especially enjoyed "Making Room for Essentials," "Leaning on Jesus," and "A Whole Bunch on Nothing." This 128-page "pocket" book would be an excellent resource for discussion-starters, an opening devotion for a group meeting, or personal inspiration or given as a gift to Moms, Dads, Grads and others. Finding God in unexpected places.

Cathy Mescar has a wonderful way of weaving and painting words that make her writing become 3-D. I was especially touched by "When God Sings." Through a time of play with her daughter and baby dolls Cathy brought out the truth of how God is always wanting to bring harmony into our lives. The Stained Glass Pickup is a perfect book to give to anyone on any occassion.

Great for your "Quiet Time"

This is a devotional for real people. I love picking it up during my quiet time and seeing how God works in the everyday things that happen in life. This book is uplifting and encouraging.......just what I need!
