This fine, accessible book in the ACTA Publications "American Catholic Experience" series, is actually a compilation of tightly written short stories, telling the details of the author's life growing up Catholic, dealing with tragedy, searching for the "meaning of life", and his encounters and feelings about his Catholic beliefs. It gives us a snapshot of an ordinary Catholic man and how he feels about life through the lens of faith. It is humorous, detailed, and quite interesting.
