Learn how to instantly create riffs hooks and vocal melodies.
This book dispels the myths of songwriting and destroys the negatives that hold songwriters back and ends songwriters block in melody.
You may have read books on songwriting.
Perhaps you've seen such questions as;
"Where do I start?""How do I write a song?""How do I progress a melody?"You may have seen these usual recycled, generic answers;
"Write a song every 2 days during the month of February.""Persevere.""Keep a hook book.""Go to music college.""Learn music theory.""Write for 10,000 hours.""Don't go to sleep the night before you write a song because you'll be more creative when you're tired", etc.You'll see these little snippets in books and scattered all over the internet, but these are not the answers you are looking for.
You might do all these things but find they don't work. You might go to music college but find that on your first day, when you're expecting to learn how to start creating vocal melodies, the thoughts of "Why am I here?" start to enter your mind.
The book includes a link to a video demonstrating the kind of vocal melodies you can compose by using the methods in The Songwriting Magic Formula.
THE SONGWRITING MAGIC FORMULA
About the Author
Paul Wright is a songwriter, author and songwriting mentor.
He invented the methods in his book over 25 years ago, since when he has been teaching the methods to his pupils. These are the secret songwriting methods that no one knows about, "The songwriting magic formula.
"My intention when I first invented these methods was to keep them secret forever and only teach them to a select few. But I have decided to give them to the world. So, I've put them in a book called The Songwriting Magic Formula."
Short extract from book
Let's get rid of a few myths. There's no set way to create a melody.
Not true.
Pupil says to mentor, "I know you're going to teach me how to write better songs, but how do I come up with the actual melody?"
The mentor turns to the pupil and says. "Well, that's the million dollar question. I wish I could just say, 'sit there with your guitar do this, and out will pop a melody'. But unfortunately, there's no such thing as a magic formula."
This isn't true. Let's blow the other myth out of the water. The one where they say composing cannot be taught. Well, I've just learned you how to create a vocal melody in less than 15 seconds in example three. Usually it only takes a few seconds to hear the new melody being born. Now you can teach your friends and family how to compose a melody in less than 10 minutes. Even if they've never composed a melody before. And not just any melody but catchy hit melodies. It's so easy, you will think "Why didn't I think of that."
