Judith Pintar is amazing!

As an undergraduate I took a couple of courses with Judith Pintar, first of which was Introduction to Sociology where we used this reader. If it hadn't been for her course, her method of teaching, precise choice of readings, and her poignant personality I probably would've never fallen in love with Sociology as much as I did. Her readers/compilations are highly recommended for introductory level teaching and understanding of Sociology.
