Teaching Values

This is a great book to give new parents - along with a monetary gift for the child. It is also great for other special occasions for the child - teaching to save is a lost art!

A fun book about the value of money

A book about the value of money that kids will enjoy. My suggestion is to checkout the publisher BrownBooks for the author Matt Fuller.

Simple, Easy, Educational!!!

This book does a great job of teaching the importance of financial independence to young children. This would be a great book for the schools as it teaches important values of life. My 5-year-old daughter loves the colorful illustrations and consistently asks to have it read to her right before bed.

Money, Candy, a Dog and a Good Message

My son loves it! "The Smart Little Saver" is a book that teaches children the importance of saving money in a fun and colorful way. In the story, Alex and Justin have a dilemma: Should they buy candy or save their money? With money, candy and a dog, this story has all the elements that capture a child's attention. I have not seen any other book written for kids (not just parents) with the message of saving. Highly Recommended!

The Smart Little Saver

This is a great book for the 4 to 8 year olds. Our ten year old liked the book, even though the target age group is obviously a little younger. Our 5 year old thought the book was great, and tells me, when I jokingly threaten to charge her a quarter for some assistance around the house, that she is saving her money for an emergency like the one that occurred in the story. Our children have many books, and this one is a family favorite. We would like to see more written along these lines, but have never seen any others. My wife showed the book to the school librarian, and she has purchased it for their library. Hopefully, this book will be the beginning of others teaching children about money.
