A book that has been in my thoughts for many years

I remembered reading this book when I was a wee lass. Alas, I couldn't remember the title or author. So you may be able to imagine my glee at finding it here while browsing!! I have ordered it and can't wait to get my hands on it again after 25 years. Yippee!

A beautiful, beautiful book

We had this book in my second grade class and I loved it. The pictures are gorgeous and the story is simple and enchanting. A must for little girls! I am now 24 and I've checked this book out from time to time just to gaze at the pictures and relive reading it as a 6 year old.

A Girl's connection to her mother

This was my favorite book as a child. It's absolutely endearing and a wonderful link between the generations.
