This book was very average.

This book was interesting enough for me to finish the book, however, overall, it was not thrilling. I also feel like it should have been added into the description that there is a lesbian romance. It doesn’t fit the time period at all, and frankly, I had to skip over several of those parts because I have no interest in reading about that. Ruth’s character kept me invested enough to finish the book.
