Book Overview

Use The Simple Art of Napkin Folding to duplicate those beautiful napkin folds you've admired at elegant restaurants and memorable events. It's easy with Linda Hetzer's detailed step-by-step directions and illustrations. Using cloth or paper napkins, create standing triangular-shaped folds (the Tavern) for dinner parties. A few accordion pleats transforms a piece of cloth into the Poinsettia. Need festive ideas for a children's birthday party?...

Loved it!

Great folds for all occasions. We used this over the holidays and it had great ideas to make every meal extra special.

Great Book!

I got this book as a Christmas gift last year and I love it. I've made many of the folds in the book, the directions are easy to follow and each fold includes some information about the history of napkin folding that is actually fun to read.

easy to follow

I bought this book after considering several others on line, and now I won't need to buy another. I wanted something that was easy to understand and follow to make the dinner table a little something special for my wife after she comes home from work. Having dinner ready was just not enough for me, and thought about the napkin presentation. This book has more than you will ever need, and each one is clearly drawn out and easy to understand. Money well worth spent.

Love it!

This book has easy to follow instructions and is very informative about the history of the napkin folds. My husband smiles when he sits down to eat. It's fun decorating the table now.

A wonderful book!

When you buy a napkin folding book, you expect for it to just have folds. This one is the best because it goes beyond that. It has many folds, from simple to very intricate, and they are catogorized, which makes it very easy to find what you want. The pictures make it easy to understand how to fold the napkin. In additon to napkin folds, it also shows you how to use napkins to make a wine bottle coaster, a place mat, and many more things. In the back there are instructions showing how to make your own napkins, napkin rings, and also how to embroider initials on napkins. There is also an Index of Folds, which lists all the different folds in alphabetical order. It tells which page they are on, if they are flat or standing, what type of napkin you should make them out of, how big the napkin should be, and how hard the fold is. In the front there is a stain removal chart. The Simple Art of Napkin Folding is great for anyone.
