Great book on chronic pain

The author is very thoughtful and exacting in the prepartion of this book. The information, exercises and suggestions are excellent. I'm glad that I read the book. I'm a liscenced professional counselor and I recommend this book to my clients dealing with chronic pain.

Just What I Needed - A Bible Study Book that is for Chronic Pain Sufferers!

I was so pleased to have this book come about, because I've prayed for this for many years, since I have been dealing with Systemic Lupus for about twenty years. I was wanting a book that had studies set up for a Bible study that had scriptures to encourage give hope to those that are feeling discouraged because of their pain and conditions. Nothing could have been better until I actually got to meet Jonnie Wright and be in a Bible Study for chronic pain sufferers and use her book! Jonnie is a very sweet woman with integrity and faith and she understands what it means to suffer. She doesn't write for profit, she writes for God with the gift that He gave her. Now I am looking forward to her next book, "Choices" to be released any day.

Excellent devotional/bible study for sufferers of chronic pain

A well-thought-out, nicely "organized" bible study/devotional. The author writes from personal experience with the intention of guiding into a place of hope, personal growth and victory, those who deal with chronic pain. The material is beneficial not only on an individual basis, but also is an excellent leaders' guide for those in ministry who are called to lead a bible study/facilitate a support group aimed at helping others live with chronic pain. Watch for the second book in this series, to be released Summer of 2008, "Choices: Managing Chronic Pain," which promises to be just as good and as helpful as "Silver Bullet."
