The shortest kid in the world is a really,really good book.I really liked this book when i was little and now i still like it as much.This book really focuses on how important spinach,lots of milk, and exercise is. It also talks about how if your short you should be happy with what you are. In this book it talks about how you should really not try to rush your growing process, you should let you grow at your own speed. You should always remember that no matter how shot you are you will always find someone that is going to be your friend for who you are. You might be short one year and be tall the very next year.

The Shortest Kid in the World

This book was a little girl named Emily and how she was the shortest kid in her class. She began to hate being small because her family and classmates always teased her. And then one day a new girl named Marietta comes to Emily's class and she is now the shortest kid in the class. The lesson that this book teaches is just to be happy with the way you are and the way you look. The age level of this book is about from ages 5-8. I thought this book was good because it teaches an important lesson that all children need to learn.

The book "The Shortest Kid in the World" was written by Corinne Demas Bliss and illustrated by Nancy Poydar. The book is about a girl Emily who is shorter than anybody else in her class. People make fun of her and call her names just because she is not taller than anyone. Even her little brother calls her names. Then one odd day a new girl comes to class and she is SHORTER than Emily!! Emily didn't believe it but it was true. Even though the new girl was shorter than Emily no one made fun of her because her motto was "Shortest is bestest" and people really respected that. Emily was getting very jealous of the new girl because she didn't get made fun of and Emily was also getting quite jealous. Then one day the new girl apologized and Emily and her soon became best friends. I think that this book does teach children a lesson about how people can become friends with enemies that they had before. I would recommend this book to children that are from the ages 6 to 13. But it is however also a good book that I think even adults could enjoy!
