The Sheep Follow by Monica Wellington

As a children's librarian (and a grandparent), I found this book to be wonderful -- both for the children to whom it is read, and for the one who gets to read it to them! The illustrations are very simple but effective, inducing all to become involved in what is happening to this very curious flock of sheep. It is true-to-life in its depiction of sheep being willing to "follow" ... regardless of the consequences at times. (It is only the minority of sheep who are willing to "go it on their own.") Anyway! It is in my personal collection; a keeper!
