If you want to be calm..

I love the "The Seven Keys to Calm" and this is why. This is a book that teaches you self-control and self-restraint. It is a simple technique. It works if applied correctly and it will calm you and help you deal with stress. In the modern world, you can't avoid stress. This book offers you a way to redefine your reaction. When you are stressed your body releases cortisol, dubbed the "killer" stress hormone. Cortisol is designed to help the body breakdown nutrients to produce energy. However, excessive amounts of cortisol can result in illness, depression, and obesity. Scientist call this the Goldilocks Effect. We can't change the way the body functions. We can only change the way we react. Read "The Seven Keys to Calm". The book is designed as a course of study. If you practice each step as intended, you will find the space between stimulus and response.

If only I had read this earlier in life. A "must give" book!

I am only halfway through this wonderful little book and I am so stunned with its truth and simplicity. If only I had heard all this earlier in my life. Instinctively, I knew it. But the truth is that this "philosophy" is rarely validated by our society and culture. This is the clearest, most concise description of the REALITY of life that I have ever experienced. I have been studying Buddhist philosophy for the past two years. I have read hundreds of books, attended meditation retreats, consulted with notable Western Buddhist teachers. It now seems that all I really needed was to read this book!! No, it's not "Buddhism". No, you don't have to be "Buddhist" to understand and appreciate its validity. It is not preaching, it is not "self-help" or analysis. It is the most truthful observation of life and what to expect (or not expect) from life that I have ever encountered. Every one of my family members and friends is getting a copy of this book!

SO SIMPLE, WHY DONT WE ALL JUST DO IT ?

This book is beautifull,simple yet so,so smart. read it, read between the lines.Practice it and make ths world an even better place.
