I read this book as a kid at least a dozen times or more. As an adult, I still can recite the rhyme within it. As a teacher, I ordered the book to read to my kids. I hope they love it as I always did!
This was my favorite book in elementary school

I remember this being one of the first books I picked out from the library (or that is my memory) when I was in elementary school. I read it and really loved it. It was the pathway for me to love reading as a child. I loved mysteries. This book delivered for me as a child... and I remember still the feeling of reading it and wondering what would happen next. Great read for kids, in my opinion!
Excellent

I read this book when I was in elementary school- probably fourth grade. I read a lot of books, but this one stuck with me and I still consider it to be one of my favorites. I just recently remembered the title (after seeing crows out my window) and may have to buy myself a copy.
Very well written-intruiging from the very first page

The author of this book portrays Shelley as a very real, very normal teenager. Her relationships with her brothers and relatives indicate that they were very close. It is a well written mystery and should be read by any mystery lover.
