Completely compelling

A magnificient book for any of the Fantasy loving book go-ers. Rusch has an awsome way of writing. It pulls you into the story and builds the world around you. One of the best books I have ever read.

Best fantasy i've read since Jordan

I love that someone has finnally written something new and different in fantasy. The combo of magic and Judeo-Christian myth really works. Its great that no character is safe and that time progresses into the future rapidly in this series. Can't recommend it enough and I read them all. Don't stop with book five Katherine! ...or at least come back to this universe with a new series???

Stunning Writing and Plot Twists

Most highly recommended. Rusch's writing in _The Fey_ series has been gripping from the beginning, but she surpasses herself in _The Changeling._ The principal twist in the plot is both dramatically surprising and devastatingly correct as an outcome of preceding events--a difficult pair of qualities to yoke. The result is a tour de force, a story of singular power springing from a brutally believable setting.

The Fey: The Changeling is great

Setting up a whole new image in the Fey Saga, Book Two was as good as the first. With the twists and turns it is very dramatic and is hard to forget. To understand and follow the actions in this book, you need not to read the First but it is highly recommend. Check out the comments about the First Fey book and you will want it. The Third book is on it's way out and now would be the time to buy all three. Don't miss the Fourth and Fith ones coming out in 1998 and 99. I have just been informed by the author herself that there are even more twists and turns in the books that follow

builds on the first with great character development

With a slow start to set up the "Fey Universe", the second book shows considerable strength of character, building on the first book. There are two plot twists that caught me by surprise. and I normally see a plot twist 50 pages in advance. buy the first and second together! The third, when it comes out, should be great
