Life certainly can be viewed as a dash between two dates. It's profitable and maybe even essential to stop and realize what's important and what is not. The real snag is focusing too much on the destination and possibly missing out on the best part of the journey. Much of the wisdom that I've acquired in my life was through what worked and what did not. Yet, many of my greatest successes have been found within my failures. I share these lessons through The Scratch in the hope that one would not waste time on the things that cannot be changed or even more importantly, the things that may not matter a year from now.
