One of the best Emmet Fox books, good for beginners in metaphysics
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 16 years ago
This is an excellent compilation of Emmet Fox's teaching to his student. It is put together very nicely, is easy to read, and is jam-packed full with insight and truth! I would highly reccomend this book for anyone, whether they are beginners on the Spiritual Path, or are more highly advanced. It is more of his basic teachings, then biblical lessons, like "Power Through Constructive Thinking" and "Alter your Life". It is a concise representation of the Truths that Dr. Fox taught. While it lacks some of the more in depth observations and teachings, it is right to the point, clear, and full of practical guidance. Science of Living is a MUST read!
The Science of Living (2005)
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 17 years ago
Dr. Emmet Fox was a well-known metaphysical pastor and author, ordained in Divine Science, and heard by millions at the Hotel Astor and Carnegie Hall between the years 1931 and 1951. This book is the work of many patient hours of compiling, editing, and publishing Fox's notes for his Wednesday night private classes, which dealt with a deeper exploration of his teachings. Fox addresses how to achieve health, happiness and success through the Science of Being. Turn back the clock to a time when deep teaching was the norm and place in your hands a text that will unlock the real gold of health and prosperity. Very readable and extremely insightful!
