Concise and Simply Written

I would recommend this book to pretty much any parent who want to learn the basics about encouraging their child while keeping them safe. I used this book in a class of intermediate level English Language Learner parents. Although it was difficult with a lot of new vocabulary for them, the relevance of the information kept them interested. As a parent I found it quite interesting too. Although the language is simple enough that anyone with some high school education could handle it, I didn't find it condescending at all.
